Overview, September 5-13, 2019: Three nights in Salzburg, Austria, a day trip to visit the Kaiservilla in Bad Ischl, two private costume workshops with special guests, two nights in glamorous Vienna with a visit to the Schönbrunn Palace, three nights in Paris in the heart of the 1st Arrondissement on the doorstep of the Louvre, a tour of the Palace of Versailles, complete with a picnic in the gardens and a tour of Marie Antoinette’s Petit Trianon, plus free time to explore these beautiful cities on your own.

You will also have free time to choose your own spots to visit, like the Fortress with its amazing marionette museum, Mozart’s birthplace, or the wonderful Residenzgalerie Palace Museum, home to works by celebrated 16th-19th-century artists, including Rembrandt.[/ut_service_column]

Our group will tour the museum, then enjoy the balance of the day exploring this walkable city, which is the best place to buy authentic dirndls at excellent prices (they come at a premium in Vienna!). We will return to Salzburg by bus at 4pm, and the evening will be yours to enjoy unless we schedule a costume workshop (TBA). [/ut_service_column]

Jennie will conduct a walking tour of Vienna’s beautiful highlights to give you a feel for this amazing city, and the balance of the day is yours to use as you wish.[/ut_service_column]

We will see many of Empress Sisi’s original garments, as well as authentic reproductions of her most famous gowns by Worth.[/ut_service_column]

After our arrival, we will leave our bags at our hotel in the First Arrondissement and take a little walking tour with Cathy to familiarize ourselves with this historical part of the city. You will also have free time to explore the nearby Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, or any other sites you wish. (TBA: Historical Costume Workshop with a special guest)[/ut_service_column]

We will enjoy a delicious picnic in the garden and have lots of photo opportunities in the palace and grounds. We return to our hotel in the late afternoon, and the evening is yours to enjoy.[/ut_service_column]
